And if that and hordes of aether-sucking monsters didn't blow bad enough, a mysterious threat seems willing to do anything to neutralize Seth, even if that means forcing Alex into servitude…or killing her. When the gods are involved, some decisions can never, ever be undone.

Poor performance

The performance was poor. She does not have enough talent to change voices for each individual. Suddenly everyone has a weird accent. And poor Alex sounds so breathy. Very hard to listen to her.

Captivating

I could not put this one down! I was looking for ways to incorporate the book into everything I did.

Interesting progression

I have enjoyed how the story has unfolded, and I am excited to see what happens next. I personally don’t really like the forbidden love plot line, or the breed order, but I will finish the series anyways. Still not a big fan of the narrator, and the weird male voices that she does. Apart from Seth pretty much every other guy has one of two voices. Makes it hard to tell who is talking when there are 4 of them together.

Getting better....

I love the relationship between Alex and Seth!! Although I always have tended to go for the bad-boy types that are a little reckless and dangerous, I figure she'll end up with Aiden in the end. The good guy with the heart of gold always ends up with the girl in the end doesn't he.... but, the books are getting better, the plot is moving along nicely, I think I'll stick with it....see where the journey takes us

great book

This book was good. The characters were great. The scenes were detailed wonderfully. The storyline was great. I liked the narrative.

Action packed

The narrator is good. Story is action filled. With lessons to learn and mistakes to be learned from.

Love Triangle

It was good all around I just think the main character was a little too whiney about not getting her way and how things weren’t her fault. But! I did like the love triangle thing going on, it reminded me of Twilight.

This book was so much better! The narrator improved so the story was able to flow, I'm so glad I gave the series another chance! Now it's time to start another....

Amazing book, mediocre narrating

i don't love Justine Eyre's narrating but this is one of the best books and series I've ever read.

Love this novel

The second book in the covenant series was phenomenal! I can not wait to read the next book.
