We have love, loyalty, betrayal and mystery. This iws Bobby and Gwen's story. Gwen was promied at birth to a Vincenzio. Bobby does not care about women except what they can satisfy for him. What will Gwen do? Can Bobby ever care about women? I did feel the book did not flow really good,, but still a good read.

The story and characters are well written and developed. I enjoyed the drama, chemistry and journey. Good read.

Gwen and Bobby

This is a case of an arranged marriage. Their parents promised their infant daughter to marry another’s son to settle a debt. She is being treated as a pawn, and her own wishes do not matter. I bothered me she was not resistant to this scheme, more outraged. Bobby is a womanizer, but needs to settle down with one women to start a family. Eventually they realize they are growing to love each other, and they have a HEA. Despite my issues with the story line, it was well written and interesting. The narration was well done. I would be interested in more works by this author. I received a free copy of this audiobook and am voluntarily leaving my review.

Dark and Intense

This is the first book in the Chicago Mafia Vows series. It’s an arranged marriage between Bobby and Gwen. It’s dark and intense. He was hard to like at first and hard to connect with. It’s an engaging story and I enjoyed it.

Overall engaging and enjoyable

The build up between the MFC and MMC was perfect. A few of the sex scenes felt rushed but most of them were overall satisfying. I enjoyed the mafia aspects balanced with the relationship plot. The twist of character betrayal was believable but felt a bit rushed. I would've enjoyed a more drawn out version of that storyline. I enjoyed the story and would recommend this book to anyone that enjoys a mafia romance.

Mafia Romance

Gwen is promised to Bobby the Capo of the Chicago mafia as payment. Bobby is ruthless and demands respect from everyone including Gwen. Gwen on the other hand is determined to stand up for herself and not let Bobby push her around. The story is full of action, drama, and kidnapping or two.

The narrator is hard to get used to at first. Her voice changing for Bobbys parts sounds unsettling.

Steamy Mafia Romance

This is the first book in the Chicago Mafia Vows Series, a Mafia Romance. Gwen and Bobby's mafia arranged marriage romance is entertaining, and passionate, filled with banter, lust, humor, danger, and twists and turns. Gwen is naive, and sassy. Bobby is enigmatic, womanizer, powerful, and protective. The world building is intriguing. The supporting characters are intriguing. Kathy Handrock did a good job bringing this story to life. Mafia Arranged Marriage

This is a new to me author and I overall enjoyed this mafia arranged marriage story. I just struggled a bit with the narration. I feel it could have been so much better with dual narration. The characters and storyline is well written. I liked the chemistry between Gwen and Bobby and their journey to Bobby falling in love with his promised bride.

Bobby is a successful and twenty-eight years old, the youngest Capo of the Chicago Outfit. He loves power, money and sex. Bobby had dated a actress but he didn't want a relationship with love. His has called him back to his childhood home. Both of Bobby's brothers are married and his father Paul wants him married. Paul's friend Zachary has a daughter Gwendolyn that has turned eighteen. Years ago Paul and Zachary agreed that one of the three sons would marry Gwendolyn. Bobby's other two brothers are already married, so that leaves Bobby.
What started off as fake slowly turns into something real...
