I loved the flow and the cadence of the story and the reading of the story. It matched Kendrick and when HE tells stories.

Loved the story and writing. My only qualm is the reader/performer consistently mispronouncing Rakim as Rakeem. Otherwise, 5 out of 5.

His background

I love the story and how it was presented.The only thing if I had to say would have been is the final chapter should have been early in the book. It made the ending feel off.

How author views Kendrick Lamar

I’m gen x so it gave me throw back memories, This book was written as the authors nostalgic view on hip hop. Kendrick Lamar served as his platform to tell his stories. Interesting but becomes annoying after not getting Kendrick Lamar couldn’t finish

Am I the only one that was fooled by the cover and title?

I thought for sure this was a book of poems written and read by Kendrick. Lesson learned.

I want my credit back

This is hard to listen to. The cadence in which he speaks is irritating.
