My favorite in the whole series, after the Mists of Avalon of course.

This book brought to life the history or should I say her-story of the Goddess during the time of early Christianity and how She survived despite the patriarchal rule. This has given me a new perspective on the Roman history of the families during those times.

You can immerse yourself into her world

I enjoyed this book the most. I came to like Mists of the Avalon a lot then had a slight disappoint in later books to fall in love with Priestess of Avalon. I could identify with her, feel the depth of her character and her journey through life, feel her pain and sorrows. Really well written character that made you want to learn of history of those times.

the power of the female spirit Reigns Supreme

first of all the narrator was awesome. this started out as a story of a maiden and became very much a story about a mother and her connection to her son. as she reached the age of krone, she truly found her wisdom.

Amazing as always

Priestess of Avalon is an absolutely amazing book encompassing what we've come to expect from Marion Zimmer Bradley and Diana l. Paxson. Historical fiction about the legendary exploits of Julia Helena mother of the Emperor Constantine. This audio book was narrated to perfection by Rosalind Landor as if the story itself isn't riveting enough this narrator makes the story come alive. I would suggest this book to anybody who enjoys fantasy or historical fiction

Amazing. I somehow missed this book when I originally read the others in this series. it dd not disappoint. One of her best and the narrator was also at her best. I loved this Audible book.

character voices not well done

What didn’t you like about Rosalyn Landor’s performance?

The attempt at portraying male and child voices was grating to listen to. Couldn't finish listening. The sample listen is the introduction. Not characters.
