PRAVE = Priscilla + Dave
Meet Priscilla and Dave — two headstrong people with very different but complementary disabilities. When they met, fireworks flashed, but they soon became inseparable and each other’s "other half".
Together, they attacked and overcame every obstacle in their way — and had one hell of a time doing it. Follow the story of their fiery love affair among moments of raucous laughter, fear, joy, sadness, and incredulity at people's behavior. Share their passion as persons with disabilities who refused to accept limitations on living life to the fullest.
PRAVE = Proud + Brave

While Dave's reading performance can come off as a bit robotic or unemotional at times (believe me, it's quite the opposite), his words and stories are filled with the history of what he and Priscilla experienced together as a couple, from health struggles, to being new homeowners, disability advocacy and their own solo adventures.
I cannot recommend this book enough. If you are new to learning about persons who are visually impaired, are wheelchair bound, have Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI) or any other disability, I immediately recommend this book for learning just what it means to overcome the labels society has put on people with these daily struggles.
I can also say, as Dave said, that Priscilla is sorely missed still to this day by all who knew her. This book is a testament to her incredible personality, wit and lovable spunk, as only Dave can revitalize through memories shared of her. We keep her memory alive through the words written in these pages. Please consider sharing in Dave and Priscilla's amazing story.
PRAVE: a beautiful, heartbreaking history
