A little disappointed.
I’m a little thrown off by the narrators voice. I would’ve preferred to hear Alexa read it. It’s hard to focus on the word because of the voice. It feels like a kindergarten teacher is read to a group of 5 year old children. It’s also a little strange to not have a black woman reading a book about black women.

NOT Narrowated BY A BLACK WOMAN
I bought the book on the preface that it would be narrated by a black woman or at least written by a black woman. I cannot tell who this writer is when I look her up because I cannot find her. The person who is narrating sounds like someone not from this country. So this is my displeasure with this book not saying that the words are not true. I'm just a black woman hoping that I was going to get a book read by a black woman. This is my displeasure with the with the book
