Great read

Loved it! E.H. beautifully and humbly illustrates God's grace and mercy through her stories and sheds light on how to love others as God loves us.

Excellent

I enjoyed hearing the story narrated by the author. She was honest & open about joy, struggles and God’s faithfulness through it all. It’s important to take time to hear His voice.

Point of view

Really enjoyed this book. I would recommend it. Loved the stories. And bible verses. Loved it!

very good, but...

I love the Christian aspect of the book. it was extremely encouraging. The only thing I would say to Elisabeth is, You paint a really pretty picture of your struggles but you have to remember that you came from a privileged background, not because of your skin color because I am also Caucasian. You have been given much and much has been required of you. When financial burdens are absent from someone's life then the lessons and tragedies may not break you the way it does common people. Love you on every conservative platform, however I doubt you have had to live through poverty or abuse by a parent and the other dying in their 30s from alcoholism. So when you have this or similar background and you don't have endless amounts of money, there is a great percentage of people that you are not going to be able to relate from your perspective. Your silver spoon was a little too shiny at times in this book.

Thoroughly enjoyed!

I whole-heartedly enjoyed this book. Between Elisabeth's humidity and God's word, I think this was an amazingly funny and thoughtful read.

Good Read

I appreciated her perspective and positive outlook on life and her relationship with Christ. There are many teaching moments throughout the book.

Love it

This book was great. I’ve always liked Elizabeth but after reading this book I love her. Her walk with God is amazing. She’s so kind and her Grace is amazing.

Love this inspiring, amazing book!

I wasn't sure what this book was truly about. I was immediately hooked, it's totally awesome! Its well written the story flows well, it's honest, told with so much love and gratitude.
I finished it in 2 1/2 days! I like how Elizabeth ties in Bible verses to help teach and explain her life experiences. I enjoyed this book! I highly recommend it. I'm going to listen to it again. Congratulations to Elizabeth for creating such a wonderful book Thank you for sharing your faith.
