The purpose of play therapy is to help children who have some kind of social and emotional skills missing, learn the adaptive behaviors that are needed to survive socially in today's world. Furthermore, this therapy technique can also be used to provide children with insight about the problems that they are facing and help them in finding various solutions to these problems. Play therapy is also known to promote cognitive development within the minds of children.

In most cases, it is hoped that children will, as a result of play therapy, learn the different ways in which they can communicate with other people and express their feelings. Furthermore, the therapy technique is also designed to help children in modifying or correcting their behavior, learn various problem-solving skills that are essential at their stage of development and help them learn how they can and should relate to other people.

Would you consider the audio edition of Play Therapy to be better than the print version?

I cannot understand why some books are made into audiobooks. You need the book for the activities.

To much is given, much is expected

The products created by AudioLearn are top notched. However, it is impossible for lectures in a traditional college setting just to lecture their with out providing their students with the necessary PowerPoints for the students to have or Textbooks for their students to purchase. So, Audio lectures alone without physical content to engage with is not adequate enough to allow students to succeed.

As a student in graduate school, I appeal to the leadership of Center of Excellence to become excellent in providing the resources needed by all students who have purchased their materials to become successful. Please make accessible the contents needed for every student to fully learn and to become successful.
