Resumen del Editor

The 1960s brought Seth and Payton all they'd fantasized about—perfect friendships, a successful four-man band, and most importantly, each other. Together they embarked on a tour that brought them stimulating highs and shattering lows, and they prospered and suffered in one another's arms. The two men carried each other and carried a group that created both a history and a future for rock. But, at some point, their music blurred with the news of their love, and the world was faced with the choice to embrace its heroes or revert back to its deep-rooted prejudices.

pretty good beatles fanfic

Poppy Z. Brite is one of my all-time favorite authors. I was enthralled by Exquisite Corpse, and so when I was planning my trip to the gym, I decided this would be a perfect listen to take with me. I went into it thinking it would be a dramatic novella about a gay, two-person band from the 60s. I came out of it being tricked into reading McLennon fanfiction, and for that crime, it loses one star. Otherwise, I liked it, and I especially adored the narration. Overall, great book, but hilarious how this was published at all.

The best Poppy Z. since Lost Souls

I liked everything about it except it’s length. So good but so short. Don’t let that stop you tho. Go for it. I found myself wishing that Poppy had given Ghost and Steve an elegiac ending like this. Beautifully written. Don’t get too hung up on the Beatle’s comparison mentioned in many reviews. It’s there of course , but just let the story happen. I pretended it was Ghost and Steve finally committing to their relationship, Steve finally finding the peace and contentment that was his for the taking all along, with Ghost waiting patiently for him, but without the sad ending. Thanks, Poppy!! Love forever Ghost and Steve!!
