Nya, a dedicated teacher at an inner-city school, is desperate to give her only son opportunities that her own public high school students will never have. When a controversial incident at his private school threatens to get Omari expelled, Nya must confront her own deepest fears to give her son a future.

I love that there were other performers, it really brought the story to life and gave a better listening experience!

Captivating from start to finish!

This story grips you from scene one to the very end. Your dropped right into the lives of these characters—their hopes, fears, struggles, and survival. Each character shines in this as we get a glimpse of how they trying to thrive in social complexities of today’s world (i.e., persistent systemic racism, divorce and co-parenting, etc)

There are no words....

This is not an audio book, this is you being dropped into someone's real life struggles. To say you believe the characters is like saying the sun going supernova is a bit bright. Each and every actress/actor is an artist painting with raw emotion across the canvas of this short journey. Each and every one of them deserves the highest accolades for the sweat and pain they poured onto the stage and the director for bringing out their best. Thank you all for giving us so much.

Riveting story

Felt a compelling attraction towards this pipeline, a.k.a. the relationship between family life and education. these characters are dynamic and demand attention. It’s so easy to find someone that you agree with, but not so simple here each character defends themselves well and their arguments are sound.
