Her entrepreneurial spirit has led her to maintain several successful businesses where she has mentored and advised women on getting established in their business ventures. She is now happily married with a beautiful family.

I like that the book was realistic and I could relate to what she was talking about because yes I have done all the things she said don’t do.

Better the second time

I read the book then started listening again while on the train to work. I got more out of it. 😊

Not just a book about finding love!

Dr. Dunn gives reasonable strategies and recommendations to live your best life. I needed this when I was 18. She should consider starting a dating service for singles who have read the book and are ready to get it right.

The Journey to Find Me Again

I am not the typical woman on a search for love. I am a widow. I celebrated 24 fantastic years of love with my husband. Now I find myself on this new journey in my life. This book not only supports how I might find love again, but more importantly how I can find me again.

The ‘love’ journey is so different now, but Dr. Valarie Dunn has given me realistic tools to use that will make this journey exciting and fun!

I did not see this coming, i was expecting something very different

I really thought this would be an instruction manual on how to fix a man and make them perfect. This wasn’t about me (man) at all. It was about how to make you (woman) a better person, how to figure out what the perfect man is for you. It placed accountablity on a bad or good relationship equally on all party. My favorite line was why u call your girlfriend and the first thing u say is “i can’t believe he did that” lol the explanation was so true because u were looking for validation that u were right vs the jerk was wrong. What role did you play ? Very raw and to the point great job Dr Jacobs great read great book i definitely recommend u guys read this also

Perfect Timing

This book was sent to me just in time as I am working on myself during my spiritual transformation and life journey. I loved how the book touched on being financially independent and seeing things for what they are. These are areas that I’m working on asI continue my self love journey and growing into the new woman that I’ve become.
