Very Informative

My finances have room for improvement. I picked up this audiobook to help bring me back to good financial standing, and, I’ll tell you, I learned a whole lot!
It’s obvious that the author cares about young adults receiving proper financial education. I was fully engaged through the entire book, leading up to the last sentence.
Honestly, I was a little sad when it ended. As far as being a guide for young adults, it’s more of a complete sour of helpful personal finance information delivered in a very easy-to-understand way.
I cannot wait to implement some tips I learned through this book.
Pick this book if you want help with your finances. This isn’t just for young adults; I know many of my adult friends and their children who would find this audiobook just as valuable.

Comprehensive but easy to understand

One thing caught my attention right off the bat. I knew how to manage other people’s money but not my own. These basics are great for people of all ages who never got the chance to gain the financial success they desired. Starting young people off with this knowledge makes so many opportunities accessible to them that they might not consider otherwise. Hooray for the author to present this in simple terms to a young audience who needs it so much.

You can make better decisions when you have enough of the right information. Excellent advice in all areas of finances, every single one applicable to a young person’s life and lifestyle. McQueen uses examples that most young adults will be able to relate to.

All aspects of finances are explored, including building your credit, choosing a side hustle, and preparing for retirement when you are just starting out. The author also discusses and explains in detail the many types of credit cards and how to use them. Plus warnings about credit card debt and how to avoid it.

Some nice freebies in the PDF. Highly recommended.

Goes deep

This audio book goes deep into getting a great price. Goes over grocery store prices. Figuring out how much you’re paying per ounce. But It even breaks down the price per wear on clothes!

Taking into account quality vs quantity. Including organic food. Which I appreciate. We can still eat quality food while being smart with our money!

What everyone needs!

EXCELLENT! I got this for my relative who is about to enter college. Very valuable resource for guiding younger (even older) adults manage money the right way as it gives a strong foundation that will help them develop the tools they need to achieve financial freedom! This is gold as it shares a load of information such as budgeting, investing, saving, etc. It really goes in-depth and makes sure you are prepared. The narration was done well and clearly presents the content with a good pace so it's easy to digest the information. Highly recommended and I will be using it myself! 5stars!

A MUST-KNOW

I so wish that I had this knowledge in my teenage years. There is no making up for the time lost. This subject-financial literacy- is something everybody ought to know thoroughly but incredibly, it is not taught in schools. It is a crime to not know how one must manage money when wealth is indisputably one of the most important things in life. This book also shows how to accrue wealth with the help of passive income and multiple streams of revenue. That alone makes this book a godsend. But there is more. It teaches you about saving, using credit cards, improving credit scores, treating insurance as an investment, etc. And there is a section about Smart shopping too. In other words, not learning from this book can become one of the costliest mistakes you can do (pun intended). The narrator has done an excellent job too.

Great book for anyone to learn how to manage money

This was a great book for learning how to manage money. If young people take advantage of this book they will be set for life. This book is very detailed and easy to follow. I like the information on setting up passive income streams and how to tell the difference between assets and liabilities. I wish I had this book when I was younger, however, I can benefit by making some changes in my finances. I plan to have my Sons listen to this to help them start adulthood in the right way.

Managing your finances and budgeting is the single most important concept in life, yet many fail to do so. This book is a complete guide for anyone looking to understand financial literacy, especially early on in life. I highly recommend getting this book for yourself and giving out copies to friends and family, as it would benefit them and add value in all aspects of their lives. Kudos to the author for educating people on finances in a way that's easy to comprehend and implement!

It explains how you can become financially independent without getting lost in financial terminology the author explains what a young person should know about finances including taxes, insurance, and retirement.

Such a great book!! It really breaks down all the basics of personal finance. Things you would assume would be in there like budgeting and credit, but also information you honestly don't think about when it come to finance, like insurances. It does a fantastic job of breaking things down to the basics and making you rethink how you should look at your own finances.

BUY IT FOR ALL YOUR FRIENDS!! Such a helpful book for anyone at any stage of their financial journey. Some concepts may seem simple and intuitive, but the author gives such great insights into what you could be doing wrong and how to fix it.
