Scary
Book 2 in this series is just as good as the first. It's fiction with a lot of current events woven in to make it seem very real.

Great book!
I'm hoping the third book comes out more quickly than the second one did! I was going to wait until all three were out to buy them, but I couldn't wait any longer! The characters are interesting and well developed, the story is fast paced and interesting, and writing it around current events really does bring the story to life!

One of the first prepper series I read...
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
And it remains my ALL TIME favorite! I was thrilled to see today that the sixth book in this series has just been released on audiobook. Snapped it up immediately.

Appealing Christian survival genre
I find this series both satisfying and appealing in the genre I crave. The Christian viewpoints and excerpts are properly placed within the story and inspirational, while not suffocating.
Kevin Pearce does an excellent job of conveying the emotions of the characters and bringing the story to life.

Great book!
Mr. Goodwin continues what I am certain to be a legacy of not too far fetched "fiction". If you like suspense, drama, thriller and dry humor, get this audio book. If you are self sufficient, like to be prepared (for anything) you will all appreciate this book. very well done. As are the other books by Mark Goodwin.

intriguing and thought provoking
This book's journey gave a thought provoking assessment of the many multifaceted views around the world on how the apocalypse will begin. The story's foundation based off of biblical Scripture depicted the end times. A realistic viewpoint using fictional characters facing insurmountable odds as Christian believers, as the World System emerges into dominance. There is many trials and tribulations these believes will have to face as the World turns their back on God.
