I wrote Peak Dating in the hope that I can help you avoid some of the suffering I went through with women due to my ignorance.
Before learning about "game principles", I spent a lot of time chasing women in bars, coffee shops, and clubs only to settle for the first girl who showed serious interest in me. After a very painful divorce I picked myself up and got back into the dating scene where I faced many rejections and failure. I am ashamed to admit that I almost jumped off a bridge in Portland because of my frustrations. I was struggling with depressive thoughts about not being a man enough to attract beautiful women. After several weeks of counseling it finally dawned on me that there was nothing wrong with me per se, that what I needed was a clear purpose in life and that I didn’t need a woman to complete me. To my utter surprise, the realization that I didn’t need a woman completely changed my interactions with women and I started to have women chasing me. The counterintuitive experience piqued my curiosity and made me wonder what other "knowledge" and skills I was missing for success with women.
