I enjoyed all the characters. the story was a nice challenge because it did not go where I thought it would go. The author weaved interesting plots that made me keep
listening because I didn't know what Carrie would do or say or Patrick. I totally enjoyed it. The only thing I wish this story would have had is a male narrator. The female
wasn't bad, but I kept wondering what the male voice would have sounded like or done for the story

Opening Up The Heart

This story was pretty good and I enjoy it and Patrick step up to the plate which is good not too many men that would specially a one night stand and his parents getting it one um didn't see that coming that was very interesting at their age still getting it on like teenager good job i hope all the books come on here.

I liked the story but that Narrator

Please use a different narrator. I almost didnt finish because of her. I did like the story but her voice was torture. I couldn't imagine her as Kerri.

Pretty good

This book was interesting because it added drama with more than the main characters. It had a HEA for more than Patrick. One thing that should have been let out is the stereotype about a woman left to raise a child alone; apparently the author never watched Maury or Jerry Springer; this comes in all races. The narrator wasn’t bad. Interesting storyline from beginning to end.

I read the book so.......

The book was enjoyable enough on it's own but some of the racist aspects didn't go well with me. However, the happy ending and true love redeemed it for me because I know there are obstacles and racism in RL, even though it should not be. The audible was okay but in most cases I like to read my books.

Excellent story but...

the narration wasn't so good, she did alright for the white character parts, she just sounds like an very old white lady for the Black female characters and for the younger white female character.
