Concise guide to Autism for beginners
Good, concise roadmap for understanding and supporting kids with ASD. Helpful insights into early indicators and diagnostic procedures. An easy listen, even for busy parents. May help special ed teachers as well, though best they do additional research to learn the nurture vs. nature of ASD.

An Empowering Guide
This book is a comprehensive and empowering guide for parents, caregivers, and educators of autistic children. The author has organized it into two main sections: the first half provides an in-depth understanding of autism, including its symptoms, myths, and scientific background, while the second half offers practical advice on diagnosis, therapy, education, relationships, and emotional support. I appreciate its clear, easy-to-understand format and helpful information, making complex topics understandable and actionable. The author's personal experience with an autistic child adds credibility and relatability, making this book a valuable resource for navigating the autism journey.

Great starting point for a recent diagnosis
If your child has been recently diagnosed with autism, or you suspect your child may have it, this is a great book to listen to. The only qualm I had with the content is that it states that there are no environmental factors that cause autism. I must adamantly disagree with this, and I have plenty of doctors and studies to back me up on this, but other than that, this is a very educational book, especially for a patient that has a newly diagnosed child.

Great introduction to ASD
I love to learn about disabilities and how they work because I have a child with ADHD. So I was intrested to learn about this topic. I loved the introduction and first chapter that talked about the history of Autism. I never heard about it before and loved how it was a history lesson as well. Another topic I enjoy so it kept me interested. After listening to this I feel I understand autism better and can accommodate children with this disability better. As a teacher it is very helpful. I feel the authors intension to help others navinating this disability. Great resource!!
