Fun

Well written, good story, interesting. Really liked the main characters. Good comedy, and drama. Fairly low key intimate scenes. Thanks for not making it gross. Fun.

Amazing!!

Wow, I absolutely love everything about this book!! I read the physical book before I listened to it and now, I've fallen in love all over again. The narration is top notch. Dual narration is my favorite and it really brought these characters to life. I adore Brooke. I want to be her friend in real life.
This book made me happy. It transported me to another place with fantastic characters and all the swoony love I could ask for. A little drama lama too! 😉 I want this book to be a movie. It would definitely be my favorite!!

Perfect Summer Read!

Absolutely adorable! I love books that blend romance, humor, and poignancy, and this one does it so well. It was funny, swoony, and full of so much heart and emotion.

I loved these two characters! Brooke is wonderfully fun and quirky, and I loved her kindness, wisdom, and adventurous spirit. Logan was a sweetheart. His hurt was tangible and you could understand why he was so guarded. It was the sweetest thing to watch his heart heal and be able to move on.

One of my favorite things about this book is the musical references. I love classic rock, and this story is full of references and background stories about some great songs and bands.

I loved the dual narration and both narrators did a fantastic job!

If you’re looking for an engaging and fun summer read, I highly recommend this gem! I loved it!

Starts strong and then drags

I got pretty board with this half way through. Note the whole thing about summer “flings” is completely absent- at least anything physical or spicy. The characters go from sympathetic to annoying in how they hang on to things.

This was a meet-awkward! I was second hand embarrassed for her!

The list sounded fun! I made triple Chocolate Cookies too!

Both Brooke and Logan are grieving (reminded me of the book Compared by: Keisel). I appreciated the message of how to keep living while carrying grief.

I loved ♥️

Brooke forms special bonds with many people. The found family was done so well.

Brooke's mom is her inner voice throughout the story. I loved her character.

Talk about opposites attract! Logan Summers and Brooke could not be more different and it totally works.

This is my favorite Jennifer Peel book yet!
