Henry has ended his marriage to Caroline and headed off to Noosa with Mercedes' grade three teacher, Martha.

Drags on too long

The book was entertaining but the last 2 hours ( I had it on audible) drug on with ridiculousnous

Caroline Lee did what she could with awful raw material typing words so I can submit

Caroline Lee enhances every story she narrates

While I enjoyed this story and Toni Jordan’s prose, I love Caroline Lees narration. Caroline is immeasurably talented and makes narration seem so effortless, yet I know it’s not. A good narrator can enhance a story as much as a poor one can ruin writing. When looking for a new book, I often search for Caroline Lee as I am assured an enjoyable listen.

The story is very entertaining, the dialog is especially outstanding. Excellent narrator who nails the voice of every character. Reminiscent of both Oscar Wilde's plays and Shakespeare's comedies. Thoroughly entertained!

play rather than a novel

Funny story about the complexity of relationships. It takes part during one week-end and in one house which makes it feel like a play (especially on the audiobook) more than a novel. Jordan makes some interesting observations about human nature and the nature of the relationships. The only thing which bothered me is that at some moments it tries to be more funny that necessary.

Entertaining

Would you consider the audio edition of Our Tiny, Useless Hearts to be better than the print version?

The narration by Caroline Lee makes the story interesting and entertaining. I don't think I would have enjoyed it as much in the print version.

Similar to Lianne Morriarty's books I would say.

Which character – as performed by Caroline Lee – was your favorite?

From a humor standpoint, Craig. He was pretty pathetic and clueless.

Who was the most memorable character of Our Tiny, Useless Hearts and why?

Since it was told from Janice's perspective, I would say she is the most memorable. Funny how it all took place at Caroline's house and because of Caroline's circumstance, however her character was quite one dimensional.

Any additional comments?

Caroline Lee is an amazing narrator. I could listen to her read the phone book. :) The ending was pretty predicable to me. It wrapped up a little too tidy.

Loved it!

I normally just listen to books on my commute, but with this one I continued listening even as I came inside the house. I couldn't wait to hear what came next! As always Caroline Lee did an amazing job as narrator.

Love the story and the humor weaved throughout! Made me laugh out loud especially with Caroline’s delivery!

Charming and Heartfelt

This book was a delight to listen to. Caroline Lee has proven once again her tremendous narrative skills and talent.

The story was outrageous at times and each character was engaging and entertaining. The storyline drew me in immediately and I had a difficult time hitting the pause button when I had to go.

I could imagine this being a stage play. If it ever becomes one, I will definitely go see it.

totally amusing and completely hysterical

I have listened to 38 books - this one is the best hands down! The story is so well written and I found myself
putting off finishing it as I didn’t want it to end. Caroline Lee is my favorite and her acting out characters is spot on! I’m sad it’s over and I am considering listening again!
