Eric has been a vampire for nearly a century, and his demons are more than metaphors. While they controlled him, he was the Demon King. Now he has to avoid the monsters in his own mind, as well as angry nobles, fanatical religions, assassins, magi, other vampires, criminal organizations, and the neighborhood gossip.
He wants two things: To find Tort, and to have someplace to call home.

Incredible book, incredible series! I sincerely hope and pray the next book is being edited for release! This is one of the only series you try to listen to non-stop until you get the devastating news that it has ended!

didn't see the end coming
I've heard some cliff hanger endings but this was just wrong, story was going along just fine then stopped practically mid sentence.

this is the third pick and it's absolutely wonderful it reminds me more of of the first book a story, an adventure.. the second one was more built to lead to this one I can't wait to listen to the fourth book

Heck, I binged all 3 books about 90 min at a time (my commute), while walking the dog and while doing errands.

Can't wait for book 4. This one left off with him possibly entering into the "high energy state" which had only been touched on before.

I want book 4 damn it!
as usual Sean Runneth delivers an excellent performance and Mr. Whited an incredible story. I was really hoping the audio version of Knightfall would be available but it will be in September so for now, I'm getting pdf version.

Great story told in a unique and humorous style
What did you love best about Orb?
This 3rd book again leaves you with another cliff-hanger. The number of characters continues to grow in this fun blend of vampires, magic, and multi-universes. I really enjoy the self deprecating style of the story teller.

Book is great, narration can be irritating.
The books so far are amazing. My only complaint is that the voice actor either has a speech impediment or a very thick accent. He tends to chew his consonants and has difficulty with a few impersonations he's tried.
