How the current US oligarchy of the wealthy elite happened

Published before the 2024 presidential election, based on copious and thorough research, the tenets and means of implementing Project 2025 are effectively laid bare. This oligarchic transformation has been in preparation for decades, right under our noses, long planned, and all wrapped in a not-to-be-questioned veneer of religion and faith, Excellent, page-turner narrative non-fiction.

Poor Narration

This is a really important subject, and it was just a beat down of a read thanks to the author narrating their work.

Opus Dei - hypocrisy at its worst

This well-researched book, by Gareth Gore, goes into stunning detail about the origins of Opus Dei and the inner workings of this religious sect.

In truth, Opus Dei appears more like a Hare Krishna or Falun Gong style cult than a religion, requiring its members to sign over their assets and earnings to the group. It would be laughable were it not so serious, embedded as it is in a network “conservative” Christian movements trying to destroy Wedtern style liberal representative democracy.

The author relies upon numerous court cases around the World among other sources to detail the many cases of systematized enslavement of poor women, to sweeping numerous cases of sexual abuse under the rug, among other instances of hypocrisy and AntiChrist-style actions by the sect. The author also does a good job of detailing the vast networks of supposedly “independent” foundations used by the sect to shield itself from accountability and responsibility.

How Opus Dei has infiltrated our government

This book is chilling. If citizens of the U.S. knew the influence Opus Dei has over the conservative movement and our government they will understand separation of church and state no longer exists in the Republic.

Was blown away by the amount of investigative journalism that went into this story. I must-read/listen!
