This is the first book in the Star Crossed series that I found myself relating to both characters. Ollie's background is well developed. It's easy to understand how he finds himself living in his car even though he is doing his best.

Xander is a character I just understand. Demisexual, adrenaline junkie, who will do whatever it takes to get back on a bike and in a race. Been there, doing that. Lisa Henry definitely got the details of Xander's character right.

The story wrapped up nicely, but I found myself wanting a bit more of these two. It felt like the end of the series, but maybe ther will more. I am glad I kept reading this series, and I hope there will be more audiobooks written by Lisa Henry and narrated by Gary Furlong. (The Island? Pretty please!)
