Wont necessarily listen to it again, but it was a nice light-hearted story and an easy listen.

Another lovely read!

This is the second book by Lindsey Kelk I’ve read and it’s just as wonderful as the first! Entirely different stories but both with good people, great writing, and realistic life events. Can’t wait to read another!

Well written page turner with excellent narration

This book was such a delightful way to spend a day. It is a smart romcom that deserves to be at the top of the list of fans of light contemporary fiction that remains engaging from start to finish.

Slow build, consistent and interesting story. First time I read her work and I will read more books from the author

One in a million

It was so refreshing to listen to a book that was Sweet, funny and heartwarming.
The author of the book has a great sense of humor and I’m looking forward to reading more books by her.
The performance was wonderful! I don’t think I would’ve enjoyed reading it as much as listening to it. Loved hearing it with the English accent

I liked the story and narrator.

The author didn't need to add the profanity, however. It actually took away from the mood of the moment.

Great Read

After the 4th Chapter, I could not turn it off.

Favorite part was when Sam is at the beach with A, and he explains why a phone is not needed all the time....well there were other more exciting parts!!

Perfect spring read

I absolutely loved this book, the story is a cute romance, it was the perfect spring read. The narrator did an amazing job and made it easy to fall in love with the characters.

Perfect Rom Com But So Much More!

Lindsey is a sneaky writer. She honors the genre while imbuing her stories with so much more. It’s a truly stunning accomplishment to be able add so much depth and complexity to characters that in someone else’s hands could easily become a stereotype. She slips in beautiful turns of phrase and insights without losing the momentum of her playful writing style. I’m a 55 year old man reading this for a much needed distraction, yet I still found myself crying at the most surprising moments. Well done and damn you Lindsey Kelk. 😉

I recommend it! Funny and fun.

I enjoyed this listen. Annie is funny. A quick thinker. Isn’t afraid yo say it how it is and is good at her job! Her friends are so loyal. Always had her back. Love them. Her sister is very kind. The performance was great. Some sentences were delivered weird…but that is definitely a ME thing.

Quick spoiler. STOP reading if you don’t want to know random things about the story.

Annie got so down in the dumps over Sam and stopped all contact with him. He had no idea what was happening. I felt like that was a bit extreme for the Annie that we were getting to know. What was the point of even bringing in her dad into the story and her extended family. They were absolutely awful and didn’t add anything. Maybe just to show how Sam was so honest and blunt?

All-in-all, a good story! Very enjoyable. I recommend it.
