Resumen del Editor

Angie Turner's restaurant, The County Seat, is conveniently located near a first-class farmers market - so her menu is full of fresh ingredients. But a visiting culinary professor has just had a taste of something very unhealthy....

Angie first meets Daniel Monet at a local mission, where she and her chef-in-training, Hope, are serving barbecued chicken poutine to the homeless. Monet is one of Hope's teachers - but Angie's boyfriend knows him from his youthful days in England. But soon, the bon vivant is no longer vivant. When Monet is found dead, with Hope's prints on the wine glass next to him, it will be Angie who has to sauce out the real killer....

Chef To Die For

When her dishwasher is questioned in a murder of a culinary professor, Angie is back in the investigation mode. The her boyfriend leaves town without calling first. Lots of questions to answer and potato soup to comfort all of the kitchen. Great narration and series.

Good cozy mystery

Great cozy mystery. Both the author Lyn Cahoon and the narrator Susan Boyce kept me invested from the first chapter. With a number of twists and turns and a result I didn’t see coming, I was hooked.

The characters are easy to relate to and you quickly become invested in their story. Cannot wait to read and or listen to more from this author.

Fresh Food, Feeding the Homeless, Dead Professor

The third in the Farm to Fork series is just as good as the first two. Angie Turner, co-owner of The County Seat, with her best friend Felicia are busy with her close-knit staff trying out new recipes. Felicia is dating Taylor Simpson, who manages the local homeless shelter. Angie and Felicia have agreed to come and cook a meal for the homeless at the shelter. The whole crew goes along, including Angie’s boyfriend, Ian McNeal, owner of the River Vista Farmers’ Market. When Hope, one of Angie’s part timers and a college student runs into her professor at the shelter, Ian has a strange reaction to the man. But Hope is enamored with her professor, Daniel Monet, who is much older and more experienced than she is. Clearly the man is a womanizer, and Angie is worried about Hope when she offers to give Daniel a ride home. And her fear escalates when Daniel is found dead in his apartment the next day. Needing a friend and confidant, she tries to contact Ian, whom she finds has taken an emergency trip back to his native England, without telling her. Frustrated and confused, she decides to investigate Daniel Monet’s murder . . . butting heads with Sheriff Brown, Ian’s uncle. This is a fun, clean series. The staff at The County Seat are like family. There are always looking out for one another and I enjoy their banter and the little surprises along the way. And Angie is a great cook . . . and sleuth!

Good read

I enjoyed Angie's adventures once again. Overall the story was well written for most of could follow. There were two things that didn't make sense as to why the person involved did them, they were anomalies and unfortunately one of them was big. Overall though the story was good.

Good one

Another good one 3.5 stars. The killer was pretty obvious but the mystery was still a good one. The one implausible thing was Ian taking off overseas to investigate the victim, there was no logical reason for that. However, overall a good read v

1 potato 2 potato dud

This is my last story in this series. Angie complains over and over again about not wanting to investigate the murder. She acts like someone is forcing her to get into other people's business. They also treat Hope like a 15 year old. The characters are flat and uninspired. It's a very annoying and unrealistic story. I also don't like Susan Boyce as the narrator. She's more suited to be narrator for older characters.
