Loved it!

As a huge fan of Anna Durand’s Hot Brits and Hot Scots series I was looking forward to this next book in the series and I was not disappointed. This is the story of Dominic, a retired professional cricket player, and his dear friend Chelsea, a photographer. This friends to lovers book brings back a lot of the characters we have come to know and love from the previous books and I am here for it. I love it when familiar characters show up and bring a continuity to a series that is already a favorite and feels like checking in on old friends and family.

Shane East and Vanessa Edwin are a favorite pairing and they absolutely brought out the best in these characters. The vulnerability, the insecurity, the passion are all played brilliantly by these two narrators and I wouldn’t change a thing. Definitely worth a listen.

I love Anna Durand's Hot Scots and Hot Brits books so much that I have to listen to them over and over again until the next book comes out!

Hilarious

I just love Shane East’s narration; he brings so much personality to his characters. Vanessa also did a fabulous job with her characters. The storyline was light and funny. Loving this series and the British accent!

Dominic & Chelsea!

Get ready for a flirty, friends to lovers romance with a hint of cricket! This fun sports romance had me from the start! Meet Dominic and Chelsea. Living on opposites sides of the world, a few meddling friends got these two best friends to work on a charity Cricket calendar together. As their time together progresses and the heat builds, they begin to give in to the passion, and call it favors. But as the favors increase, so do the feelings. Will it all get in the way? Will their friendship survive? First off, cricket is new to me, so I loved hearing about the sport. Dominic is an interesting character, in some respects very self assured and others lacks confidence. Chelsea is there for him. She is smart, independent and snarky! I loved their banter and their chemistry. Plus we get glimpses of all our favorite characters from previous books, giving us a feeling of community and great humor! Loved this!

Shane East and Vanessa Edwin are a favorite team of mine and play off each other so well! They bring this story alive with their chemistry. ability to dial into their characters and fantastic comedic timing. I enjoyed their performance and always look forward to more from them.
