A,fascinating life journey of Onassis

A very interesting account of Onassis life. He persevered and reached the top of the mountain of wealth. Not an easy thing to accomplish. I can't say money did not make him happy because it brought him satisfaction, comfort, and access to other fascinating and important people. I don't think he was a tragic wealthy man. He was an intelligent man and could be ruthless (in his position he had to be). A good and rare biography of Aristole Onassis.

Great storytelling! I stayed up all night!

Wow! Who knew about this man and his adventures? Amazing stories! I was spellbound. So much new information in this book about his life and who he was. I suspect we will never know half of it. A real power broker.

Wonderful book

I thoroughly enjoyed this account of a very interesting man’s life story. Jackie Kennedy. Enough said. I’m sure you will enjoy this book. Give it a listen.

Interesting listen

I enjoyed learning things about Onassis. He was a very interesting man. I had no idea he made his early money thru tobacco & whaling.

Interesting Story

This account is very thorough and goes into a lot of details about Mr. Onassis' life. The author gave an unbiased account and explained some of the quirks Mr. Onassis. had. Although, I did skip a bit of the business deals it still helped one understand how he acquired his wealth. He was an opportunist and a bit shady, but that's just how he lived his life. It was nice to get a deeper understanding of his marriage to Jacquie K. Well-written account.
The narrator did a wonderful job of reading.

Enjoyable listen

Glad I listened than read this. Narrator did real well pronouncing the words. Books like these I prefer to listen too as there are some details that are just filler in my opinion. Great story. Fascinating individual. PBD had recommended the book and I enjoyed it

I loved this book. It's well written and the narration is intelligent and fascinating. Onassis is my mentor and a hero and you're in for a treat with this audiobook!

Really well narrated story, intresting as well. Gives a good picture of his overall life and business career.

Interesting and detailed

The narrator speaks the languages needed to make this story more engaging. I found the book interesting....especially the horror if war in the beginning and the deception at the end.

What a life!

The story of Aristotle Onassis does indeed sound like a Greek tragedy. This book is a good resource abut the life of the famous Greek magnate. I enjoyed listening to how he started from humble beginnings only to rise to the top of the international jet-set. The supporting characters in his life are larger-than-life life Jackie Kennedy, Tina Onassis, Christina Onassis and of course, Maria Callas. Some parts of this listen are a little slow and can get tied down in facts but overall it is enjoyable.
