Another Wild Adventure

Another quick audio listen for me with Brady and Abbi, who I thought were sweet together. Abbi is a single mom to Daisy and Brady is a bull rider who is used to looking after himself. Abbi has trauma in her past so it takes her a bit to warm up to him and fully trust that he's really in it and it's not another ons for him. Brady tries to keep it as a FWB relationship because of his career choice but realizes he loves her and Daisy, though it takes him a minute to realize he deserves this happiness.

I loved how they tried to hide this from his family but were so obvious about it that everyone caught on quickly. On the Wild Side does have a pretty predictable twist at the end but I feel like that's the case with most suspenseful romances. I just hate how Abbi kept it from Brady despite knowing that she needed to open up to him.

I loved this book so much. The characters, the story, the narration. I was in tears at the end. Abby & Brady were perfection.

This Was The BEST One!! 😍

Holy s—!! This is the BEST one of the ENTIRE series!! (Well, I haven’t read/listened to the last one yet … But that’s next on my TBR list! 😅) I LOVED this one!! 🥰😍❤️ It only took me about a week to finish it (& that’s only because I was working during the week)! 😅 There were just 1 or 2 things that I wish the author would have “expended” on a bit more, I guess you could say … 1) It was mentioned several times by Abbi (the FMC) that she used talk with an accent, but that she had to “get rid of it” b/c she was “in hiding” … (Not gonna say from who b/c that’s a spoiler.) And, yet, when it was revealed who she was, she didn’t talk with an accent even once! I just think it would have been nice for to go back to her accent at the end. And then, 2) the “bad person” that Abbi was hiding from found her WAY too quickly with very little to NO explanation as to HOW! It would have been to get an explanation as to HOW! Oh, and also, WHY does all of her heroes/heroines have to be in a “loveless, first MARRIAGE”?! This has been twice now that her characters are in a “loveless, first marriage” just because it’s “the right thing to do” when their partner gets pregnant unexpectedly … It’s like, “No! You can be a responsible CO-PARENT together, but you don’t HAVE to get MARRIED for your child to have both parents. Getting married isn’t the ONLY solution! This isn’t the 1950’s or ‘60’s!” And what widows who LOVED their first spouses, too?! 😒 But that’s it! That’s all my “complaints” of this book. It was SO much better than the last one & now I’m REALLY looking forward to finishing the series!! 👍🏻😁

Perfect narration

So far this might be my favorite one of the series. Brady and Abbi are such an adorable couple and I love the relationship that they both have with Abbi‘s daughter Daisy. Throughout the book it feels like Abbi is running from something, but it’s not until the end that the mystery is revealed. And when everything comes into the light, will it change the way Brady sees her?
