Just ok

So story 1 and 2 were fine. Easy to listen to, not sorry I spent a credit. The writing is good and so is the dialogue. Not much steam at all, but good stories.

Story 3. I could. Not. Stand. The MC’s!! I kept telling myself they would develop or the story would get better but I just couldn’t do it. DNF.

I loved meeting the King family and their women.

What a wonderful collection of stories about the King family! I was tickled pink I was able to grab this! I loved the idea that its about a father, his four boys and an overbearing grandmother. I enjoyed watching each one find their significant others depute the interference by an elderly matriarch who is pushing her weight around. My favorite scenes are when the boys/girls get together and chat or spill secrets.

While I liked Kendall and Gentry in Kings Crown I am not a huge fan of such an age gap. Although seeing them in his sons stories I really grew to like her as well as them together.

King’s Ransom is probably my favorite of the three. This story is all about revenge. While I enjoyed Beckett his girl, Eva, takes the cake. She is so different and smart as well as takes no guff from Beckett. She has a plan that doesn’t work out well but she never gives up! I like that Beckett isn’t in oil but gaming/Apps. He is suited up but meshes well working at the ranch too.

King’s Treasure us in a high second place and gave a good run for my favorite. I never thought this would be about Zander. He is afraid of confrontation and just runs away. Funny his girl is pretty similar to him. They both struggle with what to do with their life. I loved how they met and got together.

I listened to all if these on audio. Kelsey Navarro and Tor Thom narrated King’s Crown. I love Tor Thom’s voice but in here he was so low that It was hard to hear everything clearly in my car. Kelli Tager, Michael Gallagher, Felicity Monroe and Scott Rose all did amazing. Each one (even Tor Thom) did a great job bringing these characters to life.

Oh me, oh my!

Just got done listening to Oil Kings books 1-3 and loved them! Can't wait for the next two so I'll be reading them ASAP while anxiously awaiting the last two in the series to come to Audible

I struggled with this one

i thought book 2 would redeem the boxset but nah.
returning this title, thank you very much
