I don't know what I was expecting but it was NOT this! I was pleasantly surprised at this dark taboo, why choose romance. we have step brother vibes, Bully, friends to enemies to lusters. with a priest twist and a virgin sacrifice for revenege! you get a taste of it all and it's perfect!

This is one of my top listens of this month!!!

This is book 1 of the Fallen Gods of Thorncrown University series. This is a dark why choose romance. It is narrated by the incredible Bridget and Jake Bordeaux.

Just when you think you have this book figured out, the authors yell out SIKE!!!

This series will keep you guessing and you will definitely be up past your bedtime. I devoured this so fast, i already want to listen again!

The cliffhanger will have you screaming, just to warn you!

This series is everything and i can not wait for the rest of the series to come out in audio!

Bad boys and sinners

Narrators are some of the best. The emotion that carries on their voices is amazing! Stepbrother , bad boy trope. Little bit of whodunit also included.

Amazing book and audiobook!!!

This book is a very dark, taboo why-choose romance, and the narrators brought this book to life and did it amazingly. Selena has created a deliciously dark and exciting world in Faulkner. Bridget and Jake Bordeaux were amazing with their voices with each character in this book. They are very talented at what they do, they had me wrapped up in their storytelling and really brought the characters' feelings to life with their words. I loved the duet style of this audiobook. This storyline was a chef’s kiss to taboo, and I can’t wait to see what comes next in the Kings of Thorncrown series. I loved the drama, suspense, mystery, angst, and oh, the spice was scorching hot. I am so excited to hear Bridget and Jake's voices again in the next books in this series.

I loved how the narratives keep me on the edge of my seat listening to this audiobook. I enjoyed listening and how exciting this story is.

Get it

Selena never disappoints and I’m jonesing to dive into book two. The Bordeaux really did a fantastic job bringing this one to life.

forbidden, dark, spicy, and suspensful

This book was dark and spicy, and the audiobook narration was phenomenal! I absolutely love the narration and engineering choices in this audiobook. It has two forbidden romances amongst a why choose relationship, secret society, and bul!y romance. The tropes were fire and the story is definitely interesting and original. I don't know if at this point I love the FMC that much, but I'm excited to see if she grows on me. I love the suspense and secrets she and the boys are harboring, so I hope she pulls out an unsuspecting stop.

Intriguing story.

This first book in a series pulled me in and left me with so many questions I can’t wait for following books to answer! Do the guys warm up to Mercy? Who is the plague doctor? What really happened to Eternity? Are the guys guilty? Who is messing with Mercy’s room? This book keeps me hungry for more! Something tells me nothing is as it seems. The only complaint I had was the male narrator speed read through the male POV chapters, but I still loved everything about this book. I especially loved how the female narrator changed her speed, volume, tempo, and gave emotion to her narration. It was as far from a boring, one note performance as you could get. She carried the narration to a new level!

BORDEAUX’S DO NOT DISAPPOINT!!! SELENA REALLY DID ANOTHER AMAZING SERIES! Getting ready to start book two and I cannot wait to see what is in store next. Great emotion and talent put into these characters.

Solid, blasphemous time

Narrators did a great job but Mercy's voice was a little too breathy even in scenes that it wasn't necessary. But overall enjoyed it. Check your TWs!!
