BRAVO!!!!!

Lee did not disappoint. I was conflicted about Ottilie Zimmerman in Chaos Agent. But have a much better understanding of the character now. I LOVED this story, probably more the Chaos Agent and definitely more than The Fixer. Please keep these stories coming.

Standing O, Winter and Dawe!

My god - the audiobook narrated by the Legendary Angela Dawe is absolutely delicious!

When Lee Winter is in her zone, as she is with this series, the outcome is spectacular. Nobody but nobody writes ice queens better.

While I very much enjoy Winter’s lighter fare, these darker romances are where she really shines. The character development, the intelligence of the writing, the delicious melting of the ice queens - utterly divine.

I LOVE that this sexy romance is between a woman in her mid-60s and the other in her early 50s. Intellectual, strong, successful women who open up to one other in beautifully raw, intimate moments. I found the gradual, nuanced revelations of the real Ottilie especially moving.

While this series is on the darker side, Winter allows her humor to shine through and gives readers some fun Easter Eggs along the way. A superb read and listen!

this was a great book with an interesting story line, excellent MCs. Not to much drama but I loved it. Angela Dawe is one of my favorites narrators and she was wonderful in this one as well.

Enjoyed the love story hidden within a revenge filled story. So respected the slow burn and learning more about each main character.
Appreciated the intermingling with characters from Hotel Queens dropped in!! Narrator- the indomitable Ms Dawes is most fabulous…

Ice Queen Melts

The characters in this series are strong yet vulnerable. Angela Dawe does a great job bringing them to life. I recommend this book to tie up the series.

Watching them study each other was fire

MAN. I love the moments where we knew how Lee was building up a situation and you said to yourself "wait until Ottilie gets a whif of what's going on." Whew. I tell you what- watching Ottilie Monique and even Cloe study the minds of each other was exiting. How on earth did Lee do it?!? I am so amazed by Lee's works- I was hooked. And watching Monique do what she does kept me intrigued more than I expected. I usually only get into 🌶🌶 scenes when it's between the MCs, but the way these scenes were written- you can't help but be drawn in. Whew. I look forward to endulging in the whole Villians series again. you may choose to start with this book, but you will be even more on fire if you start from the beginning.

Slow Burn

Sit back and enjoy a love story about one's own worth. If we all had someone in our lives that would build us up, instead of trying to suppress our goodness.

What an amazing book!! A true study of the human nature. Sex Fantasy Expert Monique Carson and ex CIA extraordinaire Ottilie Zimmerman could not be more different…or perhaps they are far from different. When they meet in a hotel in Las Vegas they are truly intrigued by each other’s talent to read people and start an unlikely friendship. Could there be more than friendship down the path for them?

Honestly you do not want to miss a book that combines Lee Winter and Angela Dawe! That in an on itself is a recipe for brilliance! Having said that this book is fabulous! It gives you all the feels. Intelligent conversions, super mysterious and attractive characters, humor, sexiness, warmth and action! As per usual Angela has done and amazing job portraying all characters effectively taking the listener for a wild ride!

Lee Winter is just one of those Authors you will not hesitate to pre-order a new release from then cross of the days on the calendar til its released. This book was one of those pre-orders. I did that with the Ebook loved it so much that I did it again with the Audiobook. let just say it did not disappoint. Angela Dawe made this book so much better. Highly recommend.
