Nothing Lasts Forever

I'm Bill Michaels. I'm 59 years old and have worked hard all my life. But I still ended up losing my job. That's life. What you do after it all falls apart, well, that makes the real story. I came down to the Keys for a long weekend and decided to stay forever. Or until my luck and money runs out. Like I said, I lost my job up north, but was it much of a loss?

The only way to do anything in life is do it the right way. If you fall, get the hell back up and do it better. Each of us plays the game of life. But only as a team can we survive. Life hits you hard and more than often unfairly, but you’re braver than you know, smarter than you give yourself credit for, and stronger than any obstacle. I got a second chance in life and grabbed the brass ring. But trouble still found me down here in paradise. In fact, it tried to kill me, but I'm still writing the book.

A SEAL is not there to survive. Hell no, he’s there to take charge. If you can’t win, break the rules till you do. They can’t beat us because we are the people who would rather die than quit. And we leave no man behind. Yeah, it hurts, but pain is weakness leaving the body.
