Inauthentic American voice. Wrong narrator
If an author wants to situate a story in a particular location, they should be familiar with the language: “What are you playing at?!” are words never spoken by an American 21 yo,, let alone a homeless runaway. That was chapter 1 and it didn’t get better from there. The storyline failed for me and I didn’t finish listening to the book. I wish I hadn’t waited for so long to listen to because it’s too late to return.

Horrible narration!!!
The narrator dramatizes everything to such an extreme that the story is overwhelmed. This is the worst audio book I’ve ever heard. It’s impossible to know whether there’s even a plot. I had to give up. NOT recommended!
