Ram Tzu
Acerca de esta escucha
Ram Tzu says, "Ram Tzu is accessible from many levels of misunderstanding." Serious students of enlightenment are in for a wild ride with this little book. The ironic appeal of the subtitle For the Spiritually Advanced barely hints at how little Ram Tzu is impressed by individual spiritual achievement.
The 97 free-verse poems in No Way are incredibly funny, but for seekers they may also seem paradoxical, heretical, penetrating, and insightful. If you’re lucky, you’ll recognize yourself in its words–it’s good to see when you’ve been taking yourself a little too seriously. One minute you’ll howl with laughter at people's pretenses, and the next you’ll squirm self-consciously as Ram Tzu gleefully points out that you, like the fabled emperor, also wear no clothes.
This widely quoted book is guaranteed not to produce any "self-improvement" in you at all. In Wayne Liquorman's introduction, he claims not to know who Ram Tzu really is, but don't you believe it.

Historia
We suffer from the most insidious kind of addiction - one we don't even realize we have. It is the addiction to power itself. Both the Twelve Steps of recovery and the ancient teaching of Advaita reveal that powerlessness is the secret to genuine strength. The proposition that lasting peace in life can come through the recognition of complete personal powerlessness may seem counterintuitive and ultimately ridiculous. Yet, lasting peace is the miracle The Way of Powerlessness makes possible.

Historia
Written by Wayne Liquorman with characteristic humor, irreverence, and profound insight, this audiobook provides a bold new look at the nature of existence. If one wants to remain in the moment, what does one do about the mind? Never mind! The mind does what the mind does. It is working and functioning perfectly, doing exactly what it has been designed and programmed to do. The audiobook hammers away at the basic misconceptions that bring about human suffering - I could have and should have done it differently, I am flawed, I am the author of my thoughts, feelings, and actions.

Historia
A new look at Advaita through the eyes of the most unlikely of sages - Wayne Liquorman. Wayne is a former alcoholic and drug addict who shortly after being “struck sober” began a spiritual quest that led him to his guru, Ramesh Balsekar, and then to Ultimate Understanding. Wayne’s expression of his spiritual understanding is at once irreverent and profound. We laugh sometimes joyously, sometimes uncomfortably, but always with the recognition that we are in the presence of a master. Edited from talks at Wayne’s house by Catherine Asche.

Historia
A belief in free will touches nearly everything that human beings value. It is difficult to think about law, politics, religion, public policy, intimate relationships, morality—as well as feelings of remorse or personal achievement—without first imagining that every person is the true source of his or her thoughts and actions. And yet the facts tell us that free will is an illusion.

Centering prayer is the path to a wonderful and radical new way of seeing the world. It is not, as is sometimes thought, simply an act of devotional piety, nor is it a Christianized form of other meditation methods. Cynthia Bourgeault here cuts through the misconceptions to show that centering prayer is in fact a pioneering development within the Christian contemplative tradition.
