A lot of Moving Parts….

There was so much going on in this book with a lot of characters so you would really have to pay attention and keep up to see who is connected to who. The main characters are Remedy “Remi” Mason and Blaze Larue. Remedy moved to California from Louisiana to work as a nurse, only to return home due to the death of her father. After his funeral she reconnected with her ex-boyfriend Mav, who is giving very much stalker vibes! Mav literally was out here living a double life! Dude had a whole live in GF named, Kiva in which he had a child with, and a big AND they had a barbershop/salon business together. How Mav was able to pull the wool over both of their eyes, making Remy believe he was single and Kiva believe he was not cheating, is a mystery to me. This man literally got him a bachelor pad outside of him home with gf and child just to take Remy. Then Remy meets Blaze, she is his grandmother’s nurse. His grandmother is slowing passing from COPD and Blaze is her caretaker. However, he is married to Reanna his HS sweetheart that he fell out of love with due to changes to keep up with society’s norms. Blaze is considering divorce, however Reanna has her own little secrets. Blaze’s family giving him hell as the his granny’s health decline because they all want in on the financial aspect. However, granny signed everything over to Blaze. There is SOOOO much going on in this story I coudn’t possibly put it all in this review. Another good story for the books, Ms. Parker!

Messy Messy Hood Messy - A lot going on

First time checking this author out , basically picked because my favorite Lauren was narrating. And she delivered big. This story had a lot going on! It was messy but HOOD messy, Very entertaining
