I liked seeing everything through the mother's eyes

I wish it was longer but I liked the ending. It tied up the story perfectly in my opinion

Damn Judith!

Goddammit Judith! I can’t stand you for what happened to the old lady! Judith artistically describes step by step, scenery by scenery of what is occurring. I was able to clearly visualize, the car, the old nasty man, Mateo the gas station clerk and even Jodi! GOOD BOOK! Very grotesque! I had to take my head phones off and stop the book on certain parts to get my mind right lol!

So happy for JS audiobook!

I need more JS audiobooks please and thank you! 👏 Made the story 10x more terrifying.

Hats off to Danielle for even narrating this book, she did a fantastic job bringing the words to life. Each character had a distinguishable voice. When I read the book I had a voice in my head for "The Guy", the voice she chose for him was almost spot on to what I thought he would sound like. The old ladies voice sounded like most old ladies you meet so spot on with that one. The other voices were just as good. All in all very great job

Props to the Narrator

The only redeeming aspect of this book was the narration, and bless (from whatever deity) that narrator for being able to get through this. I like senseless gore as much as the next maladjusted person, but the plot was just "violence, violence, shock value" and if that's what you're searching for, then it exists unfortunately inside of this book.

This book is epic. The moment I started reading this I knew I was going to like it. Start to finish never a boring moment. Narration is perfect. Story brilliant. Awesome time 😁😎

I had read the book but wanted to hear the audiobook also. It took this already disturbing sorry to another level!! So glad this collaboration happened!! Keep them coming Judith!!

Disturbed

I enjoyed this book, it was a short listen but still quite disturbing. If you like dark stories this is a good one for you.

Gore but a bore

Eh... The car ride was the most enjoyable part of the book. I felt the ending scenes were… meh overall. The narration tho. Amazing!
