On his first presidential visit to address the European nations, President Obama felt it necessary to apologize for America’s international power. He repeated that apology when visiting Latin America, and again to Muslims worldwide in an interview broadcast on Al-Arabiya television.

Great Read - Romney's vision for America!

What made the experience of listening to No Apology the most enjoyable?

It was a well-laid out plan for Romney's Presidency. I learned much about this man's view on foreign-policy and economics. Something the mainstream news media will not report on.

I wanted to educate myself on the 2 Presidential candidates. This was a great book to learn about Romney's views and character as it relates to politics. Instead of writing about himself, like Obama's books do, Romney provides solutions for America.

This is a really good book if you want to know about about Mitt Romney and any of his views.

What did you like best about this story?

That Mitt explained all of his views about foreign affairs, schools, health care, and how he can help the economy.

Ah Shucks and Gosh Darn It, I'm Mitt Romney

In This Book, No Apology by Mitt Romney, he presents an easy to digest case about America’s Greatness and what it would take to get our country back on top of things.

Of course, Romney being a Republican, he is going to have a lot of the typical traditional Republican themes interwoven throughout, but that’s okay, as Romney seems to try to be a “moderate Republican” as best he can an appeal to as many as he possibly can. Depending on where you are politically, that may or may not work for you.

Romney, with his sometimes “folksy - ah shucks” approach, tries a little too hard to portray himself and his family as the typical All American family, but that’s a stretch as it seems they all live in a fantasy world of sorts.

He’s a good person though and he has a lot of good points on what it will take to get the USA back on top of things.

Great message, if it was 30 years ago...

What made the experience of listening to No Apology the most enjoyable?

Was impressed at first, then the story turned scary...Russia and China are not the enemy, maybe 30 years ago, seems Romney is in a time warp...

Real Life Solutions

I couldn't put the book (or ipod, in this case) down. Gov. Romney gives solutions to many of the tricky problems that are facing this great nation of ours. I downloaded with trepidation, not really sure what to expect or how much I would like it, but after reading it I am SOLD on Gov. Romney's case for a strong America.

A good read for both sides

This is a good book for the platform of an up coming Presidential candidate. No matter what side your on this is a good read and sound advice on a large scale (economic,trade,healthcare), but should be taken with a grain of salt on social issues.

America: Noble Past & Bright Future

Agree or disagree, you will definitely understand Mr. Romney's political views and, more importantly, the reason he holds them. I highly recommend "No Apology" for the following reasons:
(1) It is clear, concise, and well written. There is no extra 'filler' to pad the pages.
(2) It provides an excellent overview of today's current affairs, both national and international.
(3) Multiple solutions are presented for many social issues. These solutions will cause you to think outside of the typical conservative or liberal box. (Although the solutions are generally conservative in nature, not all are.)
(4) Mr. Romney provides several brief synopsis of history to make some of his points. These historical summaries are very good.
(5) Finally, "No Apology" presents the nobility of America's past and presents hope for America's future. As the subtitle states, this excellent book makes the case for America's greatness.

Intelligence with a plan!

I wish everyone could hear this from Mr. Romney instead of the constant barrage of lies we are subjected to on a daily basis. What happened to our civility?

Chapter3 stretches facts, some of which are untrue

At least it streches facts about international affairs with Putin's Russia that "never returns favors". Two examples from the book are untrue:
1. U.S. agreed to not install missiles in Poland (less than 400 miles from Russia! - unbelievable, think about the Cuban crisis in 1960s), in exchange for Russia not installing missiles in Kaliningrad (more than 4000 miles from the U.S.), i.e. this specific favor was returned generously
2. It was the U.S. side that stalled the negotiations on the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty recently.

I wonder if the China and Iran arguments or facts may also be a bit exaggerated in any way for any reason, but I cannot comment on those.

Otherwise the book is extremely good at explaining the rationale behind the modern U.S. conservative position on important issues - I never understood them as fully as I do now. Very well done! Thank you!
