Now the only problem is...what exactly are we saving the world from?

The moment I laid eyes on Nix, the naive yet easygoing human captivated my attention, and now I’m determined to protect him. But despite my amazing and majestic abilities, we might not make it out of this mess. Still, there must be a reason Nix was chosen. No, he doesn’t have pizazz and maybe he really doesn’t have magic, but he’s also one of the strongest and kindest men I’ve ever met.

Now if I can just get him to stop throwing blankets at enemies, we might have a shot at this.

Nixing the End of the World contains a flaming "horse" with antlers who inexplicably appears when needed (or not), an interfering BFF who didn’t really mean to light the trunk on fire, a six-toed cat that looks like he put a claw in a socket, and an incubus who just wants a smoothie without anyone losing their clothes.

Loved It!!!

I absolutely loved reading this paranormal romance! The book contains hilarious characters that were highly entertaining with an intriguing storyline all brought to life by an amazing narration!

Another great book from Alice Winters. She makes me laugh,cry and cheer. Michael Ferraiuolo is amazing as always.

It was pleasant

It wasn't a laugh-out-loud book, probably because the main characters seemed a little whiny. You spend a lot of time going to different locations and there wasn't much worldbuilding. You had enough backstory to get by but there are still many questions. The MC seemed to become a couple by default and for me, lacked chemistry. Nix was Alastair's shiny new toy that just went with the flow. Michael Feraiuolo was supurb.

Another great book from Alice Winters! She has become one of my favorite author. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

Michael Ferraiuolo narration was excellent, as always. He never disappoints!

I just started listening to this book and I'm already laughing my head off. How is Alice Winters this funny? I'll add to my review after I've finished listening but I love this book already!

Add on: This book is cute, and it's funny. I love the narrator too. I bought the audio book and I love how Michael Ferraiuolo channels his inner Golum to voice the hyena/wolf beasties. Lol
I didn't want it to end so I'm glad there's going to be more!

Fantastic

This was such a fun book! I really enjoyed the growing relationship between Nix and Alastair. There was plenty of humor and adventure in this book. There’s a lot left that I want to know about this world Alice has created. I’m looking forward to the next book!!
Michael Ferraiuolo did a spectacular job narrating this story! I loved his voices for Nix and Alastair!!

Epic story

The way this book is read brings it to life. The characters are funny, I was just giggling looking like a loon as I listened to this going about my day. I would recommend this as a highly entertaining listen. Good plot, good pace and wonderfully read.

Magical Savior Shenanigans

A magical, modern day fantasy, Nixing the End of the World was a fun and hilarious romance that takes on the magical savior trope and delivers a zany and fresh story that had me laughing out loud. The banter between the characters is fantastic and full of sass and sarcasm. I really enjoyed this book and binged the entire audiobook in one day.

What’s not to love

Everything that Alive Winters does is gold and Michael F is a match made in heaven when they work together. I laughed out loud so many times I’m surprised people around me weren’t scared of the laughing lunatic beside them.
Nix was brilliant and Alastair darling and ridiculous. I can’t wait for more. Also, Martin is my soul animal. That is all.
