I loved listening to this book on our way to glacier national park.

A few questions I have at end of book but thoroughly enjoyable

So descriptive and loved the reader

Loved this book- well researched and detailed. Did not appreciate how 99% of the women were depicted as tearful and hysterical, while most of the men were brave and calm, but that may be related to the bias of time it was written.

Gripping

This was a great story and one I will have on top of mind days to come. Sad and thought provoking.

This story is told in a respectful and non-sensational way. Clear and factual but none the less riveting! I was generally familiar with the broader facts of this shocking incident but not at all with the details. I feel so much pain and sympathy for these poor women, their friends and their families but also great empathy for these incredible animals forced to navigate safely in their natural habitats alongside our human presence. Also, the audio performance was very, very good.

Clear and exciting story telling.

I had heard on a podcast that this was a good book and I'm glad I listened. The way the author wrote this story was incredibly engaging. And I found myself drawing many parallels to the good and bad decisions I've made in my life. This is a tragic story but it really made me contemplate about how I should make future decisions. There are a lot of important lessons to be learned here.

This book was better than I expected.
