Loved!!

Awesome book! What a unique and dark twist on the traditional Peter Pan story. I loved Hooks character and the narrator but had a REALLY hard time understanding her he was saying half the time.

Angsty & Addictive

First of all, I want to say ignore the terrible reviews. While it is definitely not MPU, Jessa does in Never what she did best in the MPU……..she writes terribly flawed characters who betray themselves while they betray others they love. I loved Daphne’s character, although because of her age and inexperience in relationships she falls into a pattern of self-sabotage. Peter is utterly self-absorbed and lives only for his own pleasure. Jamison teases with the honesty of what he wants, but when he’s presented with the possibility of having it he chooses cowardice. I cannot wait to see where this series goes, because I trust that Jessa will weave a beautifully messy web that I want to get all tangled up in!

Peter was annoying

the voices were great !! Loved FMC voice! Peter was really annoying. I liked the FMC, she was confusing tho. I hated the ending, I really enjoyed the story but got bored by the end sadly. I do love this author and will continue to read ANYTHING by her. ❤️

Slept on book!

I will read anything Jessa writes. This book is so amazing. From the writing to the characters to the setting, I loved it all. I don’t understand the criticism this book gets whatsoever. Jessa does an amazing job at referencing the original story of Peter Pan. All of the characters are so interesting, and I couldn’t stop listening.

Love/Hate Relationship

First of all, this book is beautifully written! I love the inner and outer dialogue throughout the book. The narrators do a brilliant job; it’s some of the best narrating I’ve heard in a long while. The story is fantastical, mysterious, and romantic. Though, the MFC is a bit frustrating, but she’s 18 so I try to let that go.

The ending though? Ha! I think I wanted to throw my phone across the room more with this ending than I did with Onyx Storm. I simultaneously loathed it and thought it was masterful! I love surprise endings, but this one was a punch to the gut. Pure genius! But it hurt.
