It is packed with puns, battles, and a sweet, slow burn romance between the formerly most beautiful woman in the world and the enigmatic necromantic sorcerer who wants nothing to do with the living. My favorite of series so far

This book falls into the area of horror-comedy so if zombie rats bother you then skip it (or live pet rats). I thought it was the funniest one so far and I enjoyed the plot twists although they come so fast toward the end that they are a bit dizzying. Virtual voice detracts from the story.
