The Run Down

THe book overall was GREAT, but... the ending did not do it for me. I hope there's a part 2.

Very entertaining. The author does a great job reeling in the reader and hooking them to where they can't wait to get to the next book in the series.

Liar for Money

This book was ok. I wish it was more drama with lies. It was like you know that the plan wasn’t going to cover to get the money.

Good Story, narrating annoying at times!

I love Noire! I like the plot but I was often distracted by the horrible accent the narrator was doing. Also the over the top Rachetness of Bunny didn't make sense if she was planning to fool the family. With that being said I loved all the other characters and I loved the twists especially at the very end!

Awesome Story Plot

It gave: Great Netflix series. But the narrator gave, 1970s Pam Grier from Montgomery Al, vs the New York Brooklyn girl Mink was supposed to be. The accent was comical and Annoying. I felt like I was listening to a book from the Dolemite era. Mink was 21 yrs old in this book, but she sounded 50. Bunny was overly ghetto and nothing about either girl gave New York, but more L.A. there were some funny parts and great detail and worth the read/listen, especially when driving otr! The annunciation of Mink( MINKUH) jus blew me lmbo! I can't tell if she wrote this in the 70s, 90s or early 2000s but the verbs and nouns used were hilarious

No dislikes I love stories about my home town. Wish they talked about more landmarks but she did say she stayed in my projects I grew up in

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes I would. This was a great story and I loved the way it flowed. Keep me reading I finished the book in a day.

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite character was Dy-nasty and Mink. The twins were off the chain and are determined to get what they wants by any means necessary. They are comical lol

Which scene was your favorite?

I laughed when Dy-nasty was trying to irritate Mink every chance she got.

i love it the frist time but the more books i get into i see some that are better but the story is the best
