Corcoran was born on the ship bringing his family to this country, ran away to the frontier at an early age, and brings his ideas of the old country and knowledge learned of the west to whatever mess he finds himself in. He's carried a badge, found himself in jail, and stands four-square for right, honor, and truth. You gotta love the guy.

A Top-Notch Western That's Hard To Put Down!

Good writing and good reading make this book an easy listen. Johnny Gunn's characters and plot structure are excellent. I'd recommend this book to any western fan, and I look forward to reading the next book in this series.

Terrence Corcoran

Terrence Corcoran comes home to Virginia City after being gone a couple years. He gets his job back as being a deputy. He quickly sees a lot of crime going on and being planned. He has to figure out how to catch the crooks. He knows who they are but has to catch them and prove it. I like this series. I've listened to the 2nd and 3rd book and there also good. Arthur Flavell does a great job narrating this book. P.J. Ochlan narrates the next two. If my review is any help will you please click on the helpful link below. Thank you.
