"One of the BEST friends to lovers romance reads!" (Lamplight Review and Promotions)

Had potential

This book was just ok to me. The storyline was good, but there was too much wishy-washy, back & forth from both characters. I kept waiting for one of them to be assertive & go for it, but that didn't really happen. The narration was well done, though.

It was Ok stroyline

Male narrator was a bit exaggerated. Storyline was simple, love blossoming between two friends who take some time to acknowledge it.

Book One in series - Kit and Kaino

Kit and Kaino.

It's rarely a good thing to get tangled up with a coworker, but Kit and Kaino are friends and when Kit needed someone to help her satisfy her cousin's dying wishes, she turns to her friend. At first, Kaino tries to get out of it knowing his feeling for her ran deeper than mere friendship but time and time again he gets dragged in. And before long, he is all in and then some. I am excited to read more about the in the upcoming books in the series.

Bucket list for love.

This was a good story about losing your best friend an you fulfill a bucket list made especially for you. The characters are endearing and auditors did a find job of narrating.⚘⚘⚘

Loved it!

I am a huge fan of Chelle Bliss and had high expectations for this series and it did not disappoint. I loved the unique setting of a home improvement show on set in small town Washington. The side characters were interesting and the “action” was entertaining. This steamy and sweet friends to lovers story was just what I needed today. Lance Greenfield and CJ Bloom were great together and brought all the feels to these two charming characters.

Omg this was my first audiobook. This was amazing. A must listen. Love love love

Liked the idea of the bucket list, but...

Perhaps I just wasn’t in the mood for this or I just didn’t like how the men in this book were just not that great. Jealous. Ignorant. Misogynistic. Hipster. It just didn’t appeal to me. The only nice guy was the late best friend’s boyfriend. Poor thing.

The narrators were good. Lance was kind of amazing and he did a lot of the book. It was sexy at times. I’m a fan of CJ, so if you enjoy her work, this is fine.

I wish I would have liked this more.

Was ok, loved the Samoan hero

This was a hard read to decipher because I didn’t know how to feel about it. For one, I feel like friends to lovers is really hard to make work. Friends that are in love with each other but don’t know it? Yeah, it’s hard to make work.

I liked that Kain was Polynesian/Samoan. I walked in assuming he was white so it was awesome to see more brown heros. One thing I didn’t connect to was how caveman he was🤪 I’m just into more emotionally intelligent men. Even for an alpha.

It was confusing because three characters have names that start with K or a Ka sound. The heroine is Kit, the hero is Kain, his brother was Kiel. There were times I had to reread to make sure I wasn’t hearing it wrong because I was listening to the audiobook I wasn’t sure who was who.

It’s a slow burn read. Gosh I was hoping stuff would happen sooner. 90% of the book was character development. She lost her cousin who left her a bucket list and she was fulfilling everything BUT the jumping bones part.

Overall the narration was amazing but friends to lovers with this was too slow burn for me. I like one of these authors so I’ll definitely take chances again with their writing.
