it is a powerful technology that is must for all who wish to be in charge of themselves.

Self-help helps those who help themselves.

I don't really go in for mental jiggery-pokery, but I wanted to listen to this so that I could speak intelligently on the topic if it were to come up. I think that the NLP Master's Handbook (book one of two in this set) gives you some basic understanding of the techniques and terminologies in NLP that could be pretty useful in life, and helping one to become a better communicator.

Book two, though (the Scriptbook), is hard for me to judge. This is one of those areas where I'm not sure if one can discern between sincerity and a spoof. It talks about self-improvement by telling yourself that you're an alright person, that people like you, etc. I think it would be hard for me to voice these scripts without feeling silly. I'm sure this helps some people, but I think you have to be the right kind of person to make this work for you.

I Learned what NLP Means

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review. I honestly did not care for this book. I did learn what this NLP is but there was no science behind the hype. The narrator although good was very mono toned. This would be good for someone like me who did not know what this was. But only in the respect of learning what the NLP stood for and why people think it works. I would not ordinarily buy a book like this since I believe that success comes from a different source.
Book two did not help me at all. But such is life. Some people learn from books like this and others choose a different path.

Good for beginners

This book is probably best for someone unfamiliar or a beginner with NLP. There's a lot of good info and I made a note of some things but for the most part it wasn't anything I didn't already know. The narrator is good and enjoyable.

Great starting point for self improvement

This audio book has a number of useful methods and techniques for changing the way you think and live, which essentially is what NLP is designed to do. I'm not new to the world of self improvement, but still found a number of the techniques valuable and am working on incorporating many of them. There's a lot of information crammed in this hour and 17 min audio. I think in order to get the full value and application of the methods, you will have to go back and re-listen again and again until you can fully incorporate the techniques you want to master. The narration was very good and fit the subject matter appropriately. Would definitely recommend as great intro material into the NLP, self improvement world.
