Storyline was compelling. Voices not so much.
The storyline was so good. I couldn’t put it down. Finished the book in 2 days!! I only wish the male characters were done by a male, not by a female trying to sound like a man. They all sounded like the same 90 year old man.

Very Good Book
Great story glad I listened. I thought the story was a biography thats why I purchased it but was not disappointed at all. The story was so real and the narrator was awesome that I had to finish. Her ability to pull off all the characters and not sound like she was trying to hard. This book is really good but I know will be more intriguing to listen to. Great job.

Puts a few pieces together
The story helped me to put some of the major pieces together of why Gizelle and Jamal Bryant divorced so the story was good. However, the performance is another story. I guess the reader was trying to-scratch that, I have no clue of what the reader was trying to do. I had to turn the volume up and down a million times because she was reading so low. One minute her octave was normal the next she was reading low like she was trying to sound sexy. It was annoying and regardless of title I don’t think I could listen to her again.
