My teacher has finally let me do what I want with the Valentine’s Day column for the school paper, and I’m ecstatic. Instead of a regular old ad, I've decided to make it a way for people to ask their dates to the dance. How was I supposed to know that I somehow manage to create the perfect opportunity for my secret admirer to finally get my attention?
Is it the hunky basketball player, Brandon? He is everything I've ever wanted. He loves to read, we talk for hours, and he makes some mean bowling alley food. Or could it be someone else who wants to be my Valentine?
But things aren't always as they seem. Dad's job is nothing like I'd always thought it was, and because of that, my life has to change drastically. That means my date, the newspaper, and even the safety of my family is now in jeopardy. And the thing I worry about most of all is the fact that I might miss out on learning the identity of my secret admirer.

An Ok Book
it was .. fine, better than the first book that's for sure
This book is about Elena who is in charge of Valentine's column in the schools newspaper, so she decides to spice things up by opening a slot for those who want to ask someone to prom without doing face to face, but the surprising thing is that Elena gets a letter from a secret admirer asking HER to go to prom .. who is he ? and how can she find out ?
in the same time there is a blooming romance between her and the new guy Brandon, could he be her secret admirer ?
if you know me then you will know that I absolutely love secret admirers stories, they are very intriguing to me, but this book was a huge miss because there is something about the writing style that's making me feel bored, but I have to give it to the book.. it was very clean and very short so I can catch on with my reading challenge
