Remarkable

I didn’t expect to be so enthralled by the words of this exceptional woman/wife/mother/lawyer/judge/Justice. The scope of her knowledge and compassion, her humor and perseverance, and her determination to maintain a collegial and respectful atmosphere in the workplace — the Supreme Court chambers — show how special she is. No matter how one feels about her point of view, her strength of character and legal brilliance can’t be denied.

Inspiring

Although the recordings aren’t all top quality, it’s all authentic and in her own words. Loved it!

A eorthy read: Justice Ginsburg at work.

While Linda Lavin gave a consistently excellent narration, it was a treat to hear Justice Ginsburg's voice and sense of humor further seasoning the book. Lavin had the freedom to explain the technical legal concepts with which many of us are unfamiliar, while original recordings of Ginsburg retained the language intended for her original audience (often lawyers or law students), so listen carefully. This book has only increased my admiration for one of the most consequential women in our history. What an example of careful thought and expression to us all!

Captivating

I really enjoyed this book and the opportunity to get to know Ruth Bader Ginsburg. You have to be able to follow complicated legal dialogue and concepts, but if you can then you should be as mesmerized as I was hearing her opinions in her own words.

Getting to know RBG

I am grateful to have had this chance to get to know the Honorable Ruth Bader Ginsberg through the medium of this wonderful work of literature. May her efforts for all not be in vain.

I’m not an attorney, but learned so much from this book.

The notorious RBG is such an inspiration. Really enjoyed this audio presentation. I learned a lot of historical perspectives of Justice Ginsberg‘s decisions and the way she arrived at those decisions. There was only one speech in the book that the audio was of poor quality.
