Cute read but a HFN
The story was different and not what I was expecting from the cover. Usually these are an unrealistic HEA but this one was very realistic and very much just a "happily for now" story that also ends on somewhat of a cliffy. Not sure if there's more in this series or the author wanted to leave it open for future possibilities with the couple? Anyways, I liked it

My Forbidden Doctor
This forbidden romance is a good story. It pushes the boundaries between doctor and patient. I love how they met. Carl also has a vindictive co-worker who wants to date him. He is not interested so she tries to retaliate. Melanie Hastings did a very good job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

The story was plausible and interesting. Although I was a bit disappointed with the ending. And I was surprised with Carl’s reaction to his mom’s situation when her new husband took off so soon after marrying her.
