Hot Hot Hot!

This was a hot and steamy forbidden romance proving you can’t help who you fall in love with. Cole and Katie’s witty banter was refreshing and entertaining and their chemistry was off the charts.

Stephanie does it again!

I am a big fan of Stephanie’s books! This is an enjoyable story, but I feel that Heather Costa’s voice isn’t the right one for Katie. She does amazing with all the other voices though! Jeffery Kafer’s husky voice is perfect for Mr OMG! I recommend this audiobook.

While I enjoyed this book, it did not hold my attention as well as similar books I have read in the past.

Great book

Katie and Cole story is one of my favorite Stephanie Brother book. It’s a great book. It has passion steamy drama and hea. You can’t go wrong with this book.

This a pretty good book. It’s a taboo romance about having found out your one will be your step brother. But I live the way it’s handled.
Narrative was Hot!!

Loved it

This book had the right mix and angst and redemption. Just like her friends, I didn't like the judgemental attitude of the h and felt like the author gave us enough info about the H to make us love him and root for a HAE.

Cute "Forbidden Romance" Story

This was a cute story. It had a few different tropes going on. Enemies to Lovers, Forbidden Step-brother romance, not looking to fall in love because of damaging past etc. It had all the feels about how Cole and Katie come to terms with the bad examples Her father and his mother made and how it damaged them for any real relationships. Things get really complicated when his dad and her mother announce they are getting married. Katie feels it's wrong for them to have a relationship given this news. I found the H to be a little more reasonable and likable in this story. The h is OK as well but a little more angry and whiny. And not to give any spoilers but there was one character in particular I would have loved to see get what was coming to her but that part of the story was just kind of left hanging.

The Narrators were good. I always like Jeffrey Kafer. His voice is deep, smooth and pleasant. I liked Heather Costa as well but felt her voice was a little mature for a college aged student. And please don't get me wrong, I don't mean "old" I mean more mature and womanly.

Overall it was a cute, fun read.

Light romance done right

I enjoyed this book! Good characters and story that was a great light read. I would enjoy reading more by this author.

There were a few things that I just kind of had to go with to enjoy the story, which wasn't a big deal. For example, I never really understood why Katie always thought they couldn't be together only because Cole is her step-brother. (She said why but I guess it never felt like a good reason.)

Narrators of the audio version were good too. Heather Costa's voice sounded older/huskier than the character, but she's a good performer.

Sex and Ego on Overload

This is not a tale for those who like clean and polite romance between humble characters. Rather it is a well paced exploration of ego and attraction with a whole lot of enthusiastic sex tips thrown in initially via Mr OMG's radio show and later in real experience. The book theme centers on a taboo step-sibling romance but this is no short 'quickie' erotica tale. The characters grow and mature together and discover how much more satisfying sexual encounters are when love and romance are woven in and two people grow and evolve together. There is a satisfying HEA that is fought hard for by both parties. All the 'feel good' elements are there for a pleasant few hours of total escapism.
