Loved it - Great story and great narration

Having read and loved the previous books in the Paradise Bay Billionaire Brothers series I was excited to Read My Favorite Mistake which is Caspian (Cas) Spearman and Rys’s story.
We all know that what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, or does it? From the moment they first met, the sparks flew, however after an unforgettable night they parted ways. Meeting up again in Vegas it seems that the chemistry and attraction is just as intense as it was.
Caspian is the captain of the Portland Orcas hockey team and when he and Rys find themselves in the middle of a media circus. After a night of fun, drinking and gambling they end up married, even worse they videoed it and it’s gone viral. Now in order to control the narrative they decide to stay married for the time being.
Teddy Hamilton and CJ Bloom did a wonderful job with their narration, They brought the story that Ms. Burgoa wove to life for me with their performances. Their voices are easy to listen to and did justice to Cas and Rys’s characters.
I know when I pick up a book by Ms. Burgoa that I am in for an entertaining , often emotional, heart warming story and My Favorite Mistake was such a book. I have loved all the Armani books but Caspian may be my favourite.
This was a great addition to the Paradise Bay series.

Wonderful journey with fantastic narration

I love catching up with the Paradise Billionaire Brothers and this was the book I’m been waiting for because I needed Hockey player Caspian (Cas) Spearman’s Story and all I’m going to say is …..this book was everything I expected and more and My Favourite Mistake is my favourite read in this wonderful series.
Teddy Hamilton and CJ Bloom did a wonderful job bringing this story and the characters to life. They were spot on with all the emotions running through this journey.
We all know the saying “ what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” well Cas and Rys are about to find out that’s not what happened in their case. This second chance meeting has turned into something so big and now all the family as well as the Portland Orcas PR team are involved.
What starts off as a fun evening of drinking, dares and gambling finishes with a wedding and a video that has gone viral. In order to control the back lash Cas and Rys decide to stay married for a few months. But as time goes on this couple realise they can’t live without each other but will his fame ruin any chance this couple have of a HEA ….one click to find out.
I loved everything about this book, I fell hard and fast for Cas, I adored Rys and catching up with all the family added another layer to this great read.

Finding Love

Dual narration is a favorite of mine, I really enjoyed the pacing, the emotion, how they gave the characters more depth. Caspian and Rys meet at a family vineyard and they really hit it off, great conversation, cooking together, and an unforgettable night. Before she leaves Cas gives her his phone number and says to call him when she gets home but she deletes his number. Later she discovers he is a professional hockey player, not the actuary she thought he was. Rys feels he lied to her, and she hates being lied to. Years later she is dating a hockey player from a different team, although it's hard to call it dating when they rarely see each other. When her boyfriend asks her to met him she doesn't commit and later decides to fly in to surprise him, but he isn't the only one surprised when she opens the door to their room.

This was a sweet story about two people who fall in love but don't admit it to each other and find their families a little too involved in their relationship.

Great narration, loved the duet of Teddy and CJ.

I did not want to put this story down. Rys was sassy, distrustful, and quite a workaholic. Caspian was focused on his career yet was caring and loyal to his family. These two met once for one night and moved on with their lives. Fate stepped in and brought them back together. Mistakes galore were made, but love won out. I enjoyed the steam, the hockey, and the family. Definitely a book worth reading. I look forward to the next in the series.

I had the opportunity to listen to the audiobook, and it just made the story better. Teddy Hamilton's narration made me swoon. CJ Bloom did a wonderful job voicing Rys. With each narrator interspersing male and female voices, doing a duet, I thoroughly enjoyed this story again.

I devoured this fun, heartfelt and steamy romance!

I absolutely adored Cas and Rys and their irresistible love story that held me captive from the first word to the last. They meet at Cas' family vineyard and have an instant connection. They both break all their rules when they spend the day together and a night of explosive passion. They can see having more with each other but since they live in different cities, they know it would never happen. So the next morning, when they go their separate ways, Rys deletes Cas' number. Cas never told Rys who he really was, enjoying that she liked him for who he truly was, not for his fame or money. Years later, they still can't forget each other, and no one has ever measured up to the connection they shared. When Rys is blindsided by the cheater she was dating, she unexpectantly sees Cas in the bar. Their connection explodes and they have fun in Vegas, even getting married! But what happens in Vegas will not stay there. It becomes a pr nightmare for Cas' hockey career. They decide to stay married until things blow over. Rys has a hard time trusting their feelings since Cas wasn't completely truthful with his identity before. But Cas knows she is his soulmate and will do whatever it takes to convince her to stay. But when her past makes trouble for them, will they fight for love, or flee from it? I loved this story so much! Cas was so sweet, thoughtful and romantic, he definitely make my heart skip a beat! My heart broke for Rys as she struggled to believe in love, but Cas had enough belief for both of them! I loved them together and cheered hard for their HEA! I love a great epilogue and this one made me totally happy! I enjoyed catching up with family members from past stories, who meddle, love and support unconditionally.
Teddy Hamilton, and CJ Bloom did an incredible job bringing this heartwarming and sizzling story to life, immersing me in their world, and making this audiobook even more irresistible! I absolutely loved and completely devoured this fun, heartfelt, and steamy romance!
