I can't say enough good things about this book. love Keith Morris, his story and music are captivating. read wonderfully. everyone should buy this book.

Entertaining story written by the best punk front man of the early 80s second wave of punk!!!!

At first i was disappointed Keith didn’t record the audiobook himself. Maybe his voice may have been to distinct and distractive to the story. Good book flies by ,I’ve been a fan for years and gives a different perspective of the author and his life. One of the greatest punk musicians of our time his influence is huge. I thought it was refreshing to hear that he doesn’t see it that way. Hopefully they make some interesting new music now that he’s back with the circle jerks.

I enjoyed listening to his life story. My ONLY complaint is : I wish he himself would have read the auidiobook, instead of someone else. Other than that, great book and im glad i listened to it.

Great insight into one of LA punk's founding fathers

Loved the book. Recommend to anyone with even a slight interest in contemporary music history. Only critique is that I would've preferred to hear Keith's charismatic voice telling the story, as opposed to an actor, who did a fine job, but He's not Keith...

I'm a long time fan of basically anything Keith Morris so I can't say if it would be as good for non fans, but if you are it's probably for you.

If I had one knock it's that I wished there was more of it.

What a great book!!! Keith has a great life story and I enjoyed it thoroughly as a fan and as a listener.

keith rocks.

keith has such a humble perspective on music, and a very realatabe, perspective on punk and music on general. Keith comes across as genuine and has a great literary voice.

The narrator has a great voice but should have done more homework. He pronounces Fugazi wrong and sounds like an ass.

Amazingly vivid recollections of a true American icon. Every chapter had me on the edge of my seat saying, "No f-ing way!"

This is a must read for any punk rock fan but I think would also be of interest to anyone who is striving toward a dream. Keep going.

I was reminded of some bands I'd forgotten about and turned on to some I didn't know about (Off! rocks). I was inpsired. I was floored. What a great addition to all the work that Keith Morris has put out there. Thank you!

one of the best books i have listened too

Kieth is the man and will always be the man. i wish i could go back in time and see the Circle jerks. out of every old school punk rock singers Kieth is my all time fave. too here these story's and know that there are people out there that would consider greenday to be punk cements something i have always preached they are not and pisses me the fuck OFF! that they would think that and there is Kieth out there busting his ass for all those years not getting the money he damn well deserves. i hope i did my part by getting this book. and hope he makes a billion dollars on it if he wasnt making music the world would have missed out on a man they took for granted. OFF! ,Circle jerks make me feel like i am 13 years old again raging down the streets on my skateboard with a crew of all my friends

A great retelling of the early LA punk scene from one of the OG’s

Great listen and relatable. Somewhat raw and unfiltered which is what I love about it. Keith could have went deeper into how some of the relationships went south during the years but showed great restraint. He would write about some of the falling outs but didn’t slam or crush anyone too horribly which showed he isn’t out for revenge but just wanted to tell his story. I am an even bigger fan of the band and now the person.
