Great insight into one of LA punk's founding fathers

Loved the book. Recommend to anyone with even a slight interest in contemporary music history. Only critique is that I would've preferred to hear Keith's charismatic voice telling the story, as opposed to an actor, who did a fine job, but He's not Keith...

I'm a long time fan of basically anything Keith Morris so I can't say if it would be as good for non fans, but if you are it's probably for you.

If I had one knock it's that I wished there was more of it.

Being an old punk rock fan it was great!

Being an old school punk rocker I loved it brought back tons of memories. The odd thing for me was knowing Keith voice and his speech patterned hering somone else read it.

Keith Morris is a living legend. This book is authentic, well written and well narrated. If you grew up in LA and experienced the greater LA punk scene in the late 70's and 80's this is a must read. But this book goes way beyond the scene he was instrumental in creating and delves into the challenges Keith wrestled with including his addictions, the duplicity of the music industry, and diabetes and brings us right up the present and the new chapter he is writing as the lead singer of Off. Well done.

If you don't like Keith well you're not Punk Rock!

Grew up in OC during this time. I loved the scene. I wish growing up I had a mentor like Keith. I would probably be dead, but hey " live fast........

fascinating compelling punk rock rollercoaster

A must read for anyone interested in the history of punk rock. full of fascinating tales of the California punk scene. the narrator kinda sounds like Keanu Reeves, it would have been better with Keith reading but the narrator does a good good.
